Does anyone know a custom painter/builder who specifically works on trolleys?  I have been investigating a couple of projects and it seems pretty complicated by the time you find motors to fit, lighting, details and electronics.  Is there any chance of one-stop shopping?  In general, do most trolley enthusiasts build their own models?

Thanks!

Jim is still selling his custom shells as of the last East Penn meet this past year.  But, that's what you get - a shell.  All of the details, drives, etc are on the buyer, so that's far from a complete model.

That other name rings a bell, too....

Norman Houser is a fellow that  paints model trains. He  works on  trolleys  and  rapid transit cars. He always attends the  East Penn  Meet and our  meet in  New Brunswick. I think he lives in northern NY. I don't have his address or phone  number off hand but  you should be able to find it on the net. If you can't get back to me and I will get it for you.
