Customized Tonkin 1/50 scale Yard Tractor | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

This is a Tonkin 1/50 scale yard tractor that I customized into a more common, short wheelbase tractor. The last photo below shows the stock model, which has a longer frame that is not very common in the real world. The model is well built and detailed (including boring out the handholds in the Budd wheel rims) and is very lightly weathered. Perfect for an intermodal yard or large factory/warehouse scene. Works well with both 1/50 and 1/48 scale trailers. The Brenner tank (1/50) and Atlas O Pines box trailer (1/48) in the photos are for example.
