Cw-80 whistles constantly | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a cw-80 transformer that will blow the whistle constantly, turn the throttle all the way off and then bring the throttle up and the whistle will begin to whistle. Is this a problem with the programmable IC? Or is there another possible cause. There is a obvious click when pressing the whistle button so it’s not stuck down.

Some of the earlier ones actually had buttons that were stuck. I have had to take it apart and grind the underside of the button some to fix it.

Did you reverse the wires to the track?
