CZ Dome Car on Fastrack - Lights not working | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

As the subject line says: I have an Atlas California Zephyr 21 inch Dome Car on Lionel Fastrack and the lights don't illuminate when the car is set to lights on and track power via the switches on the car's underside. The lights work just fine when batteries are installed and the switches are set to lights on and battery power, although the output is much dimmer then Lionel passenger cars powered via the track. There's no issue with the track receiving power. The Atlas trucks are for 3 rails. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot?
