I have a DCS Commander that just stopped responding to the Wheel.
I comes on and all the functions seem to work, but the wheel does nothing.
Any one have these issues before?

OK, I have determined that one of the Mosfets is bad, BUT there is a diode (number D368) on the board that has blown apart!
Hence I don't know the part number for it.
I wonder if someone could have a look in theirs and get me that number from the top of the diode?

I'm not a MTH guy but is this commander you are referring to ? I have several for my G scale lay out laying around. (reference watch dog)
If so what do you want me to look at?

I can't believe that someone wouldn't rip their Commander open to get me a part number LOL
Well, it's pretty unlikely you'll be able to get a usable part number from an SMT diode anyway. 
Under those circumstances, I typically pick a standard silicone diode the same package size and drop it in.
Information from another site, that diode appears to actually be a 40v Schottky diode, MCC B5819W-TP.

No Chuck, that was actually an application note for the TPS40056 chip, but the design in the DCS Commander appears to have used pretty much the application note design.
It's pretty common for the manufacturer's application note for a specific special function chip to be pretty closely followed in a design, especially if you don't have a lot of experience with the specific part and/or application.
