Most of you probably don't know who Scot was but I assure you he was a super nice guy. Rest in peace brother.

IBEW Local 701 Journeyman Technician Scot A. Pensgard passed away on September 9, 2021.

Scot A. Pensgard, 53, of Sandwich, passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2021 at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora.

Born in Chicago in 1968 to Diane (nee Grabowski) and Larry Pensgard. Scot went on to become a proud union electrician. Scot took pleasure from working to renovate his house, photography, and researching and photographing trains. He was a long time member of the Sandwich Sportsman Club where he was an active volunteer. Scot was an avid Trump supporter, collecting numerous types of memorabilia such as shirts, hats, and yard signs.

Scot is survived by his loving children Taylor (Jamie) Pensgard and Amanda Pensgard and his grandchildren, Oliver and Elijah Pensgard. His parents, Diane and Larry Pensgard and his siblings, Donna (Dave) Pensgard and Keith (Patsy) Pensgard are also surviving, as do his nieces Dianna, Athena, and Ashley Novotny and many loving friends. His beloved golden retriever, Tanner, and his two cats, Kitty and Rufus, also survive.

Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
