Can you make it possible to delete one single picture from a thread once it gets posted, without deleting the entire post, and starting over from scratch with that particular post.
Maybe it's me but I can not seem to substitute individual pictures once I post them in a thread.

It is already possible to do this.
Just click on the image you want to delete and press your DELETE key. If you also want to delete the little thumbnail image, locate it at the bottom of the window and click on the little trash can next to it.
You can then upload new images via the usual method - the "Add Attachment" feature.
DONE.
