diagnose and repair . lionel legacy sd 60, engine 911 does not respond to legacy cab 2, engine starts. lights turn on, horn repeats 2 blows continuously. No response to cab 2 remote. Suggestions on repair, please.

Does it run conventionally? Maybe loose board or antenna wire. Had one engine where the antenna had come loose and needed to be remounted.

My top suspect would be the TMCC receiver came loose on the RCMC. This was enough of a problem that Lionel has started soldering them to the RCMC and making them a single unit.

Having never seen the internal electronics of a locomotive I will have to make a decision , to take this on or send it out for repair.
I feel that before I attempt any repair my self I would start with a good anatomy lesson(s) of this locomotive.
my hands are skilled. my solder technique is good, now I will need to know what I'm doing and on what I'm doing it on.
Does anyone know if you tube has anatomy videos of this lionel sd 60?
