The DL&W cabs have been started. The windows were a little tricky but a jig made it a little easier. The ends will be done tonight and maybe I can assemble the bodies tomorrow.

Nice Malcolm. Wood or steel version?
Chris, They are the steel version. Malcolm
Progress photos of number 1. Since I’ve not built this one before I’m finishing one before I do the other six. This one is tough but not as tough as the N&W CF cabs.

Malcolm, what kind of trucks will you use? I run conventional three rail with Lionel old school crab claw couplers.
Thanks for the progress reports! I can’t believe the detail!
Impressive!
Oh, I think you’ll want one when he’s done, Earl! I’ve got my dibs in!
Fantastic, Malcolm! Just curious...did you ever finish those 4 MTH Northeastern steel caboose rebuilds??
I’m going to need a bib, because of all the drooling....!

Impressive, as always.

Malcolm,
Beautiful work, very clean build. Wish you didn’t paint it. Thanks for sharing your work.

I’m just stunned at the level of detail, precision, and speed of assembly. Magnificent!
Are you using decals from Prime Mover? That’s where I get my DLW from.
