Yes. I have an ATSF "Isle of Denial" SD70ACe. Ah, what might have been, but Santa Fe was already moving to GE motive power as a standard. Even after the merger, most of the loco acquisitions were GE. BNSF has a handful of SD70ACe's and they're so rare the railfans make a big deal of them when they show up.

Me too - it's a fantasy engine for now, but I hope it will not remain so. Someone should team up with the T1 Trust to issue a special # 5550 edition as a fundraiser for the 1:1 scale engine, and to raise awareness for it. Seems like it would be a win-win for the T1 Trust and a train manufacturer. Weaver would have been perfect, if they were still around, as parts of the T1 are being fabricated in PA.
