I looked at that set !  Nice looking set !

If you can get it at a Hundred dollars , I say go for it !   At full  MSRP , I would say no !

Keep in mine it is a regular Lionchief set !  Engine is  MPC era !  with  electronics ! 

Just my nickel of advice .

I have a Lionel U36B with conventional control. It has two powered trucks with the motors mounted horizontally in the trucks. It is pretty much identical to the K-Line MP15 and Alco FA's in performance, which is decent. Can't say anything about the bluetooth. None of my stuff has that.

I lost some of these Lionel sets in the IDA flood so looking to build my arsenal back up again. Looks like a solid train and at that price I’m gonna pull the trigger and buy it. I have several nephews who are between 6-12 years old and like to give them a set like this when it’s Christmas time. Trying to get the younger generation back into trains and away from those video games and their phones.
