Does anyone make a 3 Rail Central Vermont Caboose? Would a CN caboose work since they owned the CV? Sometimes if a railroad is owned by someone eles you might see the owners equipment mingled with the subsidiary's equipment. The short of it is does anyone know if it was likely to see a CN or GT caboose on CV train?

The CV runs through the woods behind my home although by the time we moved in over half the trains had FREDs. The CV cabooses that I saw looked like CN ones.

Unless you are a real rivet counter, you will not know the difference if you change the lettering.

There is a video on YouTube from 1992 that chases a Central Vermont freight from Montpelier to Brattleboro. The power is three Canadian National GP40s. They never show the caboose, but it's clear that they shared equipment.

Yes , the Central Vermont ran Canadian National wide vision cabooses in the late 80's / 90's. They were the international service caboose with the yellow cupola
