Hello All

I'm adding 2 additional loops to my layout and was thinking about trying to make a double crossover with 2-6-5165 Right hand switches and 2-6-5166 left hand switches and a 45 crossover. Looked pretty neat on Scarm but now that I have the switches set up I think I might run into trouble trying to wire this up. The two loops are powered separately using a Lionel ZW-C transformer. I planned to use the 45 crossover to separate the two loops but not sure this would work if the pickup rollers ended up on both sections of track? Would it be better to power the whole crossover as 1 block using the same channel on my transformer and isolate the block on the mainlines at the entrance of the switches? If I do that do I need to place fiber pins in both inside and outside rails at the crossover? I'm also trying to operate each pair of L/H and R/H switches with 1 remote each.

Anyone tried doing this?

Rob just wanted to thank you for your help. I setup the 0-72 switches over what will soon be a double tunnel. The switches work great. You guys are amazing and your willingness to share your knowledge is commendable. I hope to be able to post some pics soon but just started this new layout so i've got a ways to go. Your help has saved me many hours and much frustration.
