I have read in a DZ document what I believe is a fix for dim or unlit DZ leds in circuits where the switches have been wired for non derailing function. If I understand correctly, wiring the DZ push buttons into the circuit even though the switches are controlled by a TMCC SCII and the derailing wiring, will modify the circuit in such a way that the LEDs will lite brite and stay on. Do I understand this correctly?

I wired mine with the pushbuttons attached and then to ASCs and they all lite brite. At the switch motor and the pushbutton. Of course, I mounted the pushbuttons under the layout. Works for me.
