Early 33 or 34 - 6 wheel engine standard gauge

That will be a worthy project. No pics, but just looking at the TCA book, and the 33s were 0-4-0 except the very early 0-6-0 with a U frame. You have the straight frame. This seems to be the 34 from 1912, which would be NYC in dark olive green with rubber stamped oval.

Unless the entire frame was swapped out? Correct wheels for 34 are 1 5/16 diameter spoked cast iron. What size are these wheels? Would the correct wheels bottom out?

Thanks Will, The wheel are definitely not Lionel, and the engine and cars have been repainted. I'm thinking of a 1910 model.

The wheels are about 2"

My thought: the entire frame and drive were 'home made' by a pretty good craftsman. Possible that the drivers were cut down from Lionel cast wheels to that smaller overall diameter in order to add the third axle (and note no flange on the center driver). Flange height looks less than original as well and siderods are home made.
