Hey everyone Trainfam here. Lionel began producing its O Gauge program in 1917 with the 201 tank engine (made to look like a military tank). This is that train:

The set was popular, but production only lasted one year (thus the $900 dollar price tag). However the first real life locomotive were the number 152 and 153 locomotives. These was very popular with the public, as they are O Gauge ( which was more manageable and smaller than there Standard Gauge  trains. Thankfully with the help of the internet and the billions of these locomotives out for sale at any given time, I was able to purchase two. One is a original pea green 152 with actual hand rails, and the other is a restored maroon 152 with indentations for handrails. Take a look.
