A friend picked up this early MPC N&W 9215 Boxcar at York yesterday, and it appears to have a truck anomaly. One of the trucks is the original AAR Early MPC Truck, and the other is the later MPC Symmington High-Speed Truck. These are riveted in and have not been swapped as the car is un-run and brand new. Is this something known to be from early MPC production? I can't see why anyone would want to do this themselves.20191020_16274620191020_162712

I was always surprised by how MPC tooled a new AAR truck...rather than just copy the recent PW AAR trucks.  MPCs is a tad longer and sloppier looking.  But they then immediately switch the to rare Symington truck.
