Just got news that Ed passed away last Saturday after a battle with pneumonia. He's had some other health issues during the past few years and this round was just too much for his 82 year old body. For those who don't the name, Ed Campbell was a major collector of Union Pacific brass locos, rolling stock and structures for decades. He and Terry Paige were Union Pacific collecting nuts and had multiples of most items imported by OMI and any other importer offering UP items. He shared Tom Marsh's passion for the UP, like many of us.
RIP Ed, and may the signals be green.
