I agree, it was quick and easy to vote.  Literally, it took only a few seconds.  So easy.

George S, yes, you have to opt-in for electronic/online voting.  Everyone's default setting is a paper ballot.  Right now, since the election is in progress, everyone's settings are locked.  Once the current election is over, on or about April 1 your personal settings will be unlocked and you can change your voting preference.

I can't believe how easy it was to vote ... and you save yourself the cost of a stamp.  Fast, easy, and free.

I opted in for on-line voting several weeks ago.  This was an email that offered the online or mail selection.   Decided to vote today.  Went to the page as recommended above, but the place to select is not operable on my desktop.  I hunted all over the place trying find a voting place to start the vote process, without success.  Guess I won't be voting this year.

Bill,

The above instructions are only to change your preference to vote online or vote by paper.  Currently, the option to change your preference is locked out since the election/voting is in progress.  After the current election period ends, the preference settings will be unlocked to allow you to change your preference.

Since you say you opted in for online voting several weeks ago, maybe something didn't take when you adjusted your preference settings.  If the system accepted your online preference, you should have received an email that said "click here to vote".  There's no website you can go to to cast your vote.  The only way to vote is to click the link in the email that was sent to you.

I know my "vote here" email went to my junk folder in my email account.  Once I added that email address to my "contacts" or "safe senders", the email went to my inbox.

Maybe check your spam/junk folder to see if the voting link ended up there.
