I would like to buy an inexpensive electronic e-unit. This will be going in my most recent $5.00 train show purchase, an 8350 US Steel switcher, so understandably I don't want to spend a lot to make it go backward. Broken units, if priced right, are completely welcome.

Email is in my profile.

In that little engine, a Lionel electronic reverse unit will work just fine. They can be had for under 20.00. Dallee units are fine, but the current handling limits are overkill for what you need. I installed a Lionel reverse unit in a 8769 Republic Steel switcher 25 years ago, and still works to this day.

Thanks Chuck, that's what I saw also. No worries, GRJ hooked me up with one - soon my little engine shall know "Reverseth."
