I'm planning on re-working my Menards Fire Station into LACoFD Station 51 sometime in the near future. It's certainly proving to be more of a challenge to find any decent 1/48 (or even 1/43 or 1/50)  fire apparatus that's not European or Asian prototypes. I wish there was still someone like Code 3 around, even though they were mainly 1/64. I'll likely end up modifying a Corgi Fire Heroes model.

A few ‘in action’...

Not sure if the guys qualify but Batman, Bullitt and Starsky & Hutch rides come close in my book

My vehicles are "in action" at a holiday fire/ police/ EMT display.

while some units working the 4 alarm fire, other units call to hazmat spill involving semi caring poison accident

Penn State Hershey Medical Center Life Lion medevac coming in for a landing! This model is 1/48 scale and was a limited edition run for Hershey Medical Center! I see the real ones all the time. I believe they have three.
