Hello Dennis, it has been many years since my father and I would take the train to Boston and walk from the North Station to the South Station, stop for lunch and always stop at Eric Fuchs on the way back to the North Station for the train home.

I was never in the back room where the repairs were done but I remember a double main line with curves in the window and straights along the right side wall to the back room. There was always two trains running but I cannot remember if both freight trains and passenger trains were operating.

Hi, I do not do O Gauge just worked on them. I just joined mainly to answer this or any questions about Eric Fuchs Hobbies. I worked there for close to or a little over ten years in the early 60 thru the 90s. I became close friends with the family Eric taught me how to fix the old trains as his eye sight was very bad. I was not working there or remember the layout but saw pics and Eric used to always talk about it. I found these online of the old layout and store from before I got there. The store looked a lot different back in the day.15589944_1302951729766699_1097857866444949925_n15626158_1302952216433317_7930335091165078374_o15665622_1302925086436030_6973379352056716670_n
