Hi Eric! Congratulations on the loco! I really enjoy watching your videos on your YouTube Channel! One question though on the rendering. That doesn't look like an ES44AC. It doesn't have the rear radiator overhang like in the attached pic. Is there a different model of ES44 that I am not aware of? Thanks and again, Congrats!

It’s there, you just can’t see it very well because it’s a 2D rendering. The “ERIC’S TRAINS” copy will be on the side the radiator housing. An artistic rendering of it (like you’d see in a catalog) is coming on Monday.

if only you could do a LC2.0 Doodlebug or gp20 for the Appalachan and Western

the ES44 is cool but i only do traditional o on a very tight budget

i hope they do your voice as the engineer character

that would be wicked awesome

Yeah, it's not gonna be for everyone and that's fine. We had to choose something and I figured for my first ever (and possibly only) custom locomotive I'd like it to be something that I personally would want to run on my layout. If this one sells well, we can always do more stuff down the road.

Personally I like the design BUT I’d make the  “Eric’s Trains” designation optional or a user removable placard. I understand it’s Eric’s exclusive engine but at least for me if I was interested it would be a deal breaker. Just my opinion. Again still like the design.

I guess in the end it’s no different than have “Lionel Trains” or “MTH” on the side except for the history of these brands.

This is Eric's design and his special run if you don't like it move on.

So our opinions don’t count?  The comments were constructive and respectful. The forum is here to comment on presented topics.

I like every thing about the engine just not a fan or having the name on the side. It’s a cool paint scheme and I applaud Eric for taking the plunge.
