I’m using the Legacy 990 system. I think I’ve got it properly installed in a Lionel TMCC Pennsy T1. The procedure to program the R2LC and Feature Code refers to setting the Program Switch to Pgm. I presume they are referring to the small switch on the CCM, not the switch under the engine? Is the board’s switch used to program future ID assignments essentially replacing the engine’s Run/Pgm switch?

Its the program/run switch on the engine. I am not aware of a switch on the Cruise M.

Thanks for the clarification! I shelved this engine after the CCM didn’t work. Turns out I soldered the wrong pin (wouldn’t run). The board with the small switch is the one the original R2LC plugs into. Hard to remember but I think that board is CCM, at any rate it has a small run/pgm switch. Maybe for converting a conventional can motor engine?
