So I noticed that when I have this in my layout, it works as described BUT it looses connection with all the track that comes after it! I obviously am doing something wrong! But what? Thanks

Basic track 101, if you are depending on the track connection pins as your primary and only path of power- you are going to have dead spots.
You need multiple power drops
You need to crimp your track sections to tighten these pin connections.
I have only benched tested 6 pieces of track together, power drop is NOT the issue

What connection are we losing?
LCS signal?
Power to the track?

Again, we are talking about this- a basically normal 5 inch piece of fastrack that happens to have the LCS sensor embedded.

It goes dead when any of my locos hit the track...stops immediately as though it looses connections. I tired reversing the piece and same result. Im able to program the unit, into the CAB-2 so that is not the issue. Its odd I might send back to Lionel
