FasTrack switches and SC-2 controller

Yes that is how I needed to connect my Fastrack until I changed to the Command switches no SC 2 needed there.  

You need to cut the ground trace on the top of the SC-2 to allow the use of channel 1 for Fastrack switches.  There have been several threads here about it.

Here's the position of the trace, there is only one wide trace there.

Thanks for the quick and thorough reply. In my defense, note that a search on "SC-2" yields NOTHING on the forum. Only "SC2" works. Must be the dash that screws up the search.

I hate to be a pest about SC-2s, but as I continue to wire 3 of them up to my 13 switches, I have a remaining question.

I've decided to keep the SC-2s "pure," in case I want to sell them. So I'm only using 5 switches per SC-2, hooked to terminals 2-6. (And I supply 16v power to the two power connection screws.)

I just discovered that, even though I haven't got a switch connected to terminal 1, it numbers the terminal anyway, during the PROG ... SET sequence.

So my question is this: Is there no way to program a switch #1? I can't start with "0" for the SC-2 box, to get terminal 2 to be switch 1, because I'm told that resets the settings.

It appears that my layout will have switches #2 thru #14. A small price to pay for wireless control retrofitting, I guess...

Nope, you'll just have to skip those numbers.  I know of no way to get around that.
