Finding online catalogs?

I'm not aware of any online repositories of Lionel catalogs.

If you're after this sort of information, there are a few products to search out:

1) HSL made two different DVD's containing Lionel Prewar catalogs. The first covered 1900-1924, and the second from 1925-1942. Unfortunately, HSL is no longer licensed to produce these, so you'll need to look for them on the secondary market. A "wanted to buy" posting here might also help. The old HSL webpage and product details can be found here. They originally retailed for $50 each.

2) Greenberg Publishing issued two hardbound books with catalog reproductions of the period. Volume 1 covered 1900-1932, and Volume 2 has 1933-1942. These have been out of print for many years, but pop-up on the secondary market for around $100 each.

3) Bruce Greenberg printed a new book about a year ago covering the O Gauge period from 1915-1928. Fantastic research and photographs. Sets are covered tangentially by including much of the needed info with the locomotive data. Retails for about $100. Check out the details, including sample pages, here.
