I just got my Pennsylvania ps3 0-6-0 switcher back from repair from MTH. They put a new board in the tender. On the DCS remote for the engine there is a fire box glow button to turn the firebox glow on and off. It doesn't work. The light is always off. I took the boiler off and noticed that there is an LED there for fire box glow and it is hooked up. I swapped the interior light LED with the firebox LED. The Firebox LED now worked, so I know the LED is not bad. Before I sent the dead engine in for repair, it had the same problem with the fire box glow. I have tried engine reset and feature reset with no luck. Perhaps MTH just has a bug in their program for this feature.
Anybody have some suggestions on how to get the firebox glow to work with the DCS remote.
