Got the bridge working, test run. I’m very happy with how it works and turned out.

Nice layout Sparty. Isn't it nice to have trains running?  That's an interesting track design, it should provide you a lot of running options. The neat bridge looks like its doing the job. Keep us updated!

Haven’t posted an update in a while on the time spent here and there on it. After reading the many helpful posts on here wanted to try and lower noise as much as possible so I have attached some pictures of the foam I sandwiched between the plywood and frame work to isolate maybe some noise and vibrations.  Also put foam under the fast track.  I also attached pics of the quick connectors I used to disconnect the module wiring.  I took the modules off and suspended it from the ceiling. It worked but decided this fall to add another two pulleys and now can keep the modules on it when going up and down.  Added bonus is now I can raise it to work on wiring and lower it for my daughters and I to work on scenery.

Nice work Sparty. I like the bonus of raising the layout for easy access under the empire. Plus with 4 hoists you should be able to easily raise a truck or tractor for those oil and blade changes!

Excellent work Sparty.  I envy the adjustable height layout.  I will need to use under- & over-layout creepers to complete my project which is moving much slower than yours.  Running trains as soon as possible during construction is always the best.
