I have both the Erie and Great Northern, excellent items.  Should have at least one on every S gauge layout.

This is what I have done with my Erie, since it is on a passenger train.   I brought one of the NASG REA cars.  This car is held on by two clips.  The sound car uses 4 screws.  As it turns out the REA car has 4 body mount posts.  There are already holes in the REA frame for screws.   Two of the holes line up perfectly with one end of the car.  The other end holes in the frame are just out of reach of the car post holes.  Using a 1.53mm drill bit just drill two new holes.  Now the new body is securely mounted to the sound frame and you won't have to worry about picking up one pat at a time.  I used that size drill bit because you can use the same screws from the sound car.      Another thing I noticed about the sound car.  The sound board looks, to me anyway, just like the Electric RR sound board.  I did not dig out the sound board manual to compare it to, but it does look like it is.  Instead of the manual volume control, the volume knob plugs into it....
