Is there any way to have a prefix on the subject for the For-Sale and Wanted-To-Buy forum?
In some other on-line forums, you can configure a prefix to the subject that gets selected. This would eliminate the confusion where most folks don't bother to add the F/S, TRADE, or WTB. etc to their subject. I know this is recommended in the F/S rules, but apparently most don't read the rules.

I agree. I don't know how many times I've clicked on a topic and it turns out to be a for-sale topic. Just put FS: in front, or WTB:
Agreed. If I'm selling/ buying, I'd want to add the proper info to the subject.
Helps drive searches too with the correct wording.
There is no way within the constraints of the back end control panel that I can do this. It may be possible to add it via some custom CSS, I don't know.
It's a good idea, and I have contacted Crowdstack Tech Support about this.
Thanks Rich, I'd love to see it if it's possible. I'm with the others, I click on a title, only to find it's a sale ad.
Of course if the right hand topic index had the forum ID, that would work as well.
Agree totally but interestingly I found a great deal on something that way.
Clicked on it thinking it was a standard topic and it was a great deal on an item I couldn't refuse. 😄
I made the mistake, amongst others…..when my post got deleted, I went back and read rules…..maybe if there was a way to make a person read rules before they post, just a quick few bulleted lines….people would comply, I know I would/did…….of course easier said than done
