I'm glad that I found this group where I can share.

Paul, The seams are at the rivets so they were easier to hide. I see that you like Rock Island. Check out my custom painted Rock Island caboose in my "I like road name cabooses" thread. I run that caboose with double headed, both powered, Lionel postwar #231 Rock Island Alcos.  Amazing how much they can pull in this configuration.

Orrin, the trucks are from the original SP caboose chassis that I stretched with a piece of sheet metal, to fit the new caboose length.

Jesse, One of my earliest train show mentor's favorite sayings is "always look down under the tables when walking these shows".
