#FrontEndFriday

The PRR 0-6-0 steam switcher class B6sb. Reportedly *the* last steam locomotive to drop its fire on the PRR was of this type, MTH Railking & prototype (RR Museum of PA photo)

Rusty, is that crew trying to figure how to fuel their diesels from the coaling tower and fill the water tanks from the water tower?

Scalecraft K4 from about 1938 or so.  This is the later version with the rear drivers powered instead of the middle set.  Will need a lot of work.  This makes three of these beasts for me now.K4-2018front

Did thatSanta Fe make a wrong turn somewhere?

Yes, indeed, Gandy. It made a visit from the world of Shiny and Sparkly to the world of Guests Like It Bright and Flashy Sometimes . In fact, it has stayed around, since then, being a popular li'l bugger which is always ready to roll and never finicky, unlike certain other  Eastern RR steamer fussbudgets in the neighbrhood.

Finally able to contribute!

Technically though, it's more Rear End than Front End. Though the Southern did like running things long hood forward, I believe the GP35 was set up Short Hood forward, though I could be wrong!

Awesome. I want to buy a place in Moon Township and live there with my wife. Now only if we can change to O Scale.
