Just took this photo of this Tri-Rail BL36PH at the Pompano Beach station a few minutes ago on my way into the office after a doctor's appointment.

Brian, I've been combing teh googles for pics of small locomotives and can't find a match. Maybe Marci can go back there and find the builder's plate and take a pic?

One more from the late morning commute to work.  It's CSX #2800 (a GP38-2) at the Hialeah Rail Yard

Apologies for the window glare from the passenger coach I was riding in when I took the photo.

Ted, wrt Plymouth lineage two things bother me: (1 the outboard wheel-bearings & suspension and (2 the full-height hood. Any Plymouth photo I've seen shows a lower hood.

Lew, take a look at this web site'.  There are many similar industrial locos.  Yours could possibly be English or Russian... Still reminds me of the Plymouth's from the early 40s....

Happy Front End Friday. I picked this up last weekend at the Great Scale show in Maryland. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid!

Love the BL-2. I have the same demo model. Now I've gotta get it out of the box and on the rails.
This one's nice too

Yes the demo BL-2 is a must have.  Although actually built as a BL-1.  But was modified to a BL-2 like the production models.
