Briansilvermustang that’s a beautiful CSX Diesel at the crossing, Berkshireliver726, cool floor layout, I used to set up Postwar lionel trains all over our living room floor and 63 years ago, It was fantastic and my neighborhood friends did the same. I had the 2332 GG1, GP7 or 9 Milwaukee road 2338 bunches of freight cars, lots of 022 switches, simply fun, those were the days..... Today, age 75 I simply love the newer control systems. Happy F.E.F everyone. I have two pictures today, one a postwar classic and the other a pre-war tinplate.
Here is my postwar Wabash F-3 leaving my depot with a Lionel express train. I have no idea what the Wabash would be doing down in eastern Ga so I won't try to make up a back ground story. She is the single motor Wabash but still a very strong puller and was marketed and sold as an AB set in the 0-27 line in 1956.
Here is a somewhat tired (but 91 years old) Hornby M0 locomotive from 1930-31. IAW my Hornby reference these were the first of the "M" series trains, introduced in 1930. These were 0 gauge but a smaller scale than the regular Hornby trains and their couplers were tab and slot type made as part of the carriage frame stamping and they were incompatible with the regular line (somewhat like Lionel "Scout" sets) . Due to several dating clues, this one comes from the earliest sets as it has 2 "cut out" windows in the cab and by 1933 these windows were tinprinted in the lithography. It also has a tender numbered 6100 which in 1934 was changed to 6161 again due to some changes in the litho.
So here she is, 90+ years later. I will post some additional pictures of her, her tender, and her M0 passenger coaches later today (have to leave for work) on the Tinplate picture thread.

Rusty Teague - great original artwork. tnkMarx - good pictures of Lionel Penn Stream Turbines. I got mine (or maybe Dad got it ) in 1947 for my 3rd B'day and it went around the tree and on our layouts for the next 20+ years. Here are a few pictures for F.E.F : The MIGHTY Marx 6000 SP F-3 AA. She still pulls her 3-4 car 7" sheet metal freight car consist with no trouble.

Don McErlean, Thank You for the compliments, the RJ Corman bridge is about 7 miles from where I live in Clarksville Tennessee, and is fun to watch when it swivels in the middle. Your Marx 6000 is beautiful and many of my friends, childhood friends had Marx trains. The RJ Corman train shops are also near me at Guthrrie Ky., and I visit them several times a year. A friend of mine, Rick Goodwin helped me take these pictures, Wow. 
Leapinlarry: now that is a cool bridge. In case you missed it, “Trains” mag this month in their “Train Watching Hot Spot” article had pictures of the R J Corman operations likely at the shops near your house.
