Here are a couple shots from Cresson Pa last Sunday.
Hi Brian, Do you think that moment, with those three locomotives passing by simultaneously, was staged, photo-shopped, or serendipitous? Or ? At any rate, it sure was impressive, huh.

Definitely a real drag race. The two rival roads and their rival speed demons.
Good morning, here is a shot of a west bound Amtrak train at mile marker 300 Torence PA. last Sunday evening.

Unfortunately it is a cost benefit study. It would most probably cost MTH at least 274K to 325K to tool this locomotive. But as I recall Lionel did make a scale size one so they would/should only have to retool for a can-motor.

That’s funny Brian. Probably some who don’t remeber that line.

Lionel did indeed make a scale one of these. I saw one at a train show just a few weeks ago with a $275 price tag.
Well, the front end of my new ( and probably last) Loco-motion.
Was actually ready to order a Millhouse River Studio 34" in Pennsy detail turntable. But those $$$$ plus a multiple went for the DP. Also precludes almost all O-gauge acquisitions for a while.
All because FORD was not going to support us with a new "true" Bronco. And the fact their 4.0L OHC engine self-destructs at around 110K/114K miles. Mine was at 114K+ needing over $3K to fix.
Re-using a photo from "What did you do on your layout today?" :-)

Yes, but Jim it is not command control and not a can-motor. So an expense to up grade.

My mistake, it is semi-scale, however, it is TMCC.
Good morning, here is my photo for this week.

Jim, forum members have had their scale Lionel Yellow Belly upper graded with a Timko can motor including Scott Smith.

Good morning, here is a photo of the Reading Hertage unit tied up at Seward Power Plant in New Florence PA.
Second photo is from Cressn PA.
Went to the Shelburne Museum in Vermont last week and took some pictures of a locomotive #220,
Built in 1915 by the American Locomotive Co for Central Vermont Railway.
Taken out of service in 1956 and given to the museum.
Great Museum and a must see when visiting Vermont, plan for a whole day.
My Lionel 2025 modified engine. Rebuilt/painted in the late 80's.

Isn't there something wrong about this picture? The flaming exhaust from the jet engines seems to suggest this puppy is setting a rail speed record.....in REVERSE!!!!? Talk about a ride to remember! And an open baggage door, to boot!
Hey, Brian, I see Tacoma Rail engines every once in awhile on the Sound Transit tracks (used be BNSF) which parallel I-5 on the west side between Lakewood and DuPont. There is a siding at DuPont where they store a few cars enroute to/from local customers.

nice looking B&O F-3's !! like them !

Quite an eclectic mix of power down at the service tracks.
I wish !!! LOL

Well, look at that. Not only the front end of the engine, but also the back end of the engine-house.
Good morning here is some front end views from my layout Pennsy roster.
I always wanted one of those K-line GM MP-15s

That first pic looks familiar to the real engine I took. Have a good weekend Brian. I will be out in the sandhills next week. Will get some good frontal shots for you . Nick T.
