I have for sale three different sets of Lionel postwar lamp posts, each equipped with their respective functional original bulb. All of these illuminated accessories were seldom used [connected to power] on my former layout, ensuring plenty of "life" left in the bulbs. The number of lamp posts comprising each set, their respective condition, representative photos, and negotiable asking prices are provided below. Please note that the actual shipping cost from Buffalo, N.Y. 14224 to your location via the carrier of your choice is NOT included in these prices.
Four [4] #58 ivory/cream gooseneck, each with original box
The posts alone are in TCA C-8 [like new] condition. The frosted coating on each bulb, however, have some [one to six] very tiny- -probably age-related- -nicks on their respective surfaces, which presumably lowers the overall rating of each lamp post unit to a conservative C-7 [excellent] condition. All items are in their original P-6 to P-7 [very good to excellent] box. $18 each; all four for $64.
Four [4] #64 green highway; no boxes
TCA conditions range between C7 [excellent] to C8 [like new]. The surfaces of all frosted white globe bulbs are flawless- -i.e., free of any chipping. No box. $17 each; all four for $60.
Five [5] #70 black and chrome yard; no boxes
Two [2] posts are TCA C7 [excellent] to C8 [like new]. $20 each, both for $36.
Three [3] posts are TCA C6 [very good], so rated because of a small crack in the Bakelite base of each item. $14 each, three for $35.
Buy all five #50s for $68.
I will also consider any reasonable offer for all three sets of lamp posts.
