Alex, it's really called Black Wrap and it comes in rolls like aluminum foil. I've been using it for years to make the covering for mountains and inside tunnels. It's real use is in movie and TV lighting to flag off hot spots from lights and things like that. It's like very thick foil and is flat black. You can crunch it up and pull it back and it looks like natural rock. It's very strong. Also you can paint it. The cost is about $22 for fifty ft. It comes in three widths. One ft, two ft, and three ft. wide. I've been buying for years from a company called Filmtools, their good guys. http://www.filmtools.com/blacfoilblac.html

I have rolls of it for work but found it really works well for forming all kinds of things on the layout. Saves lots of time and work. You can glue it in place with a hot glue gun. I can't find a better picture but I did the inside of this tunnel after I made the tunnel. I just  pressed it in place after crunching it up and glued it in place. I touched it up with brown and gray spray paint. Don

Thanks Gunrunnerjohn, It's a pretty large layout with a very complex

track plan, as mentioned above I just connected the lower level to the

upper level. Going up was easy but being it is an existing track plan

the only way back down was an 11 inch decent. I made the track as perfect

as possible to make it smooth. It work's really well. The track plan is actually

5 separate main line's. This video only goes on 3 of the 5 main lines and

takes about 7 1/2 minutes to do that.

THANKS, ALEX

Wow that a heck of a long track run on several levels no less.  I take it that your layout is a "point to point" layout rather than a traditional "around the room" configuration. Nonetheless that's one amazing layout you built and the carpentry is just over the top. I'd hate to have to guess how many hours you have in that wood work.

BTW, enjoyed the video and my wife loved it as well. Keep up the good work.
