Actually I have two questions regarding Gargraves track. In designing my layout I was originally intending to use Atlas track. However, it seems that Atlas doesn't have the track I want at the present time, so I'm re-designing using Gargraves track with Ross Switches. Question 1: what is the main difference (other than material) between Stainless track and Tinplated track? Question 2: is the 54" curve with wooden ties 8 to a circle or 12 to a circle? Scarm has it as 12 to a circle, but the Gargraves website lists it as 8 to a circle.
