IT's too bad that Scott couldn't do the PRR class G23 Gondola...

If enough customers want it he just might!

Note that the PRR had exactly ONE of this gondola class: #306001 as pictured above.

Bob, Penn$$$y guy$ will pay to tool up for one right?

For a truly prototypical train your really need 100 don't you?   The EL2b's could pull them.

If Scott is willing to co-sign my mortgage for a big enough house to run a 100 car train then I’ll order that many!

come on breen that's only 11.9 K no big deal. get Quick n loan 33.33 per month.

Bob

I said a big enough house to run 100 car trains -  my layout is only 14 x 14 so I need to limit to around 25-30 cars max.

I posted previously about these cars in steel mill service, I found the pictures.  For those who want something for an industry or an unusual use:

According to the information at this location https://marmarinou.tumblr.com/...ola-car-sterling-ill  Northwestern Steel and Wire had at least one until around 1980, it looked as if it should have been put out of its misery years ago and I would find it difficult to do this to one of Scott's (or Rich's) products, but it does present and opportunity.

Rich Yoder's website has a picture of one in interchange service lettered for Laclade Steel Co - LSCX AD19, look under his Project archive section.  Ideas for the undec. one - the Laclade Steel car is intriguing.

Just arrived. Here's some quick shots of the first of five I ordered

It is a beautiful car. Includes all the interior bracing and as you can see I ordered the matching coal loads. The coal loads are unique. The coal sits in a plastic tray that is designed to avoid all the inside details and bracing.

Well done , Scott!

Ken

Beautiful Ken, Looking forward to mine coming in on Friday. Now, let's hope that Scott continues to offer other rolling stock
