The man that got me back into O gauge trains in the early 70's just passed away. Jim Madden TCA #67-2041 was one of the nicest men I ever met. He took me to my first local TCA meet and helped me with every aspect of the hobby. I always had a smile on my face when I saw him. He had a classic 40's style layout in his attic. It was the only operating Electronic Set I ever saw. He would buy parts and sets every year after Christmas from the big San Francisco Department Stores. His like new collection was huge. He served in the Army in Hawaii and always wanted to come back. We worked on a way to get him back here many times but something always came up and we never could get him here. He was 85 this year. I will miss him. Don
