Graduated Trestles set MTH Railking

I'm restarting in the Model Railroad hobby after many years away. I have a vision for a moderate sized layout that will include the graduated trestle set from MTH which is compatible with my realtrax.

What I cannot seem to find is how many linear feet are needed at minimum to use the 24 pier set?

Could use some help from you hobbyists here.
