If Smith Mountain Lake was closer to Annapolis, I'd be harassing you to bring some of those trains over. We do have fun when the fellas get together.

If you are ever in the area, drop me a line.

I wish I wish Jeff,
I haven't been to Annapolis in years . My dad used to take us to the Navel Academy when we were little. I live in the model railroading desert and I guess I'm the only oasis around . Mary Beth(My wife) Likes the scenery but says the trains are Boys Toys .She takes an active part in what buildings and where but thats the only person in my family that even has a passing interest.

I'll extend you the same invite .If you guys are ever down this way give a shout(E mail) and if you play an instrument bring it with you.We had a blast at Christmas I play the piano(44 Years) and the 5 String Banjo . I have a 1934 Gibson that's worth about 15 grand so the trains would be out in the snow before it would give up it's case.

We're all from Maryland and my Brother was here with his Strat and a 6 string fret less bass( he made his living in the music industry) . MY son has a 250 year old Fiddle that was his great great great grandfather Cecil's They lived at the base of Sugar Loaf Mountain and he plays it very well to say the least.

I know this is a sad way to look at it but When we get together in the community here where I live with other musicians from our area and play Bluegrass music Adam , my son, looks out of place . He'll be the only 20 year old in a sea of 50,60 70 and 80 year olds.
Our trains are getting to be the same way . For most kids if it's not an X box or an iPhone they don't want to fool with it.
Guess that's why I cant find anyone to play trains with.
Thanks so much for the invite
David
