Hand Track Cleaner

Nice idea!!  I'll have to try that.

I used something similar that has a handle with a microfiber cloth stretched over it to clean glass, windshields or computer screens.  But as you said, the cloth had to keep getting washed.

Thanks Traindiesel. It’s pretty convenient. With the handle, you’re able to exert good downward pressure while cleaning.

I saw the picture of the can of alcohol, so now we need 5 posts about ventilation, and 5 on not smoking while cleaning with alcohol. 

I might try your method sometime while my wife is not around and I can get to the swiffer.  Those blue paper towels are pretty durable.

Great idea! This will help me with cleaning track that's just a little bit too far for me to reach. 

Just a suggestion,  switch to low odor mineral spirits ( a non polar solvent) to clean track... it might keep track cleaner longer .

Search this forum for polar versus non- polar cleaners and you may change your mind using Denatured alcohol?

Sunnyside, I buy it at Menards but you can get it also at most any hardware store.
