I'm trying to find the non dynamic brake hatch for a Lionel F3 or F7. The top engine (black) has the hatch I need. The lower unit shows the F3 dynamic brakes. The top engine is a Erie Lackawanna F3. The hatch is not shown in the Lionel parts list for that engine. I can find the F3 part and the F7 hatch with the 36 inch fan, but not just the plain hatch. I've looked at all the Lionel F3 and F7's listed on their site and I didn't see the plain hatch called out. I thought about using a P&D F unit hatch part but the rivet pattern is significantly different, it doesn't extend as far on the hatch as the Lionel part does.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to avoid having to modify a Lionel part with styrene and putty. I just need 1 of the non dynamic brake hatches.
