Here’s a photo of my family around 1989 in front of a steam loco but I cannot remember where? I know it was West of Milwaukee, WI. I thought East Troy trolley museum but that looks like a electric operation.  It was a small place and I think the engine was a Climax?

Thanks for any input.

Hot Water,

I concur, the 2-6-0, not the Shay. The only issue I have with that is the photos I find of MCRRM's #9 have a different grab iron on the smokebox. OCSR's website mentions nothing about #9. I did find a photo elsewhere of an OCSR #2, which does look like the #9, albeit again with different grab irons.

OK, you seem to have nailed it, i.e. the 2-6-0. I was thinking of the Polson Logging 2-8-2 #2, that also had that same looking nice new wood pilot. The privately owned logging 2-8-2 was the locomotive that went to the Oregon Coast RR.
