Help with 11 degree wiring diagram

I looked at wiring diagram all you do is insert isolating pins at Y and Z or just leave the metal pin out on those  2 rails on each end as it shows in diagram.

you can use some caulk to fill gap if you think the rails are to close and might cause a short or whatever you decide to ensure the rails cannot create an electrical path.

So in other words, on the tracks going into the crossover I am creating a short stretch of non powered ground track and calling them Z and Y.  So if I feed the cross over from each leg with a 4 inch piece of GarGraves track and place an insulated pin at both ends of the chosen ground track I should accomplish that?  Am I thinking right?

So I am isolating a section of the feed tracks coming into the crossover so they have a "dead" area of 2-3 inches in order to trigger relay on the way in??

Yes, you are thinking right.  When the circuit is completed by running over the isolated track the relay will switch power to the correct track.  It works great once you get it done.  It's only seven little wires.  Don't let that intimidate you.  Good Luck.

Only remaining issue is the Ross Ready Regular going into the one leg on the diverted leg of the turnout.  That will carry power so I guess I should unsolder that jump wire underneath to make that outer rail isolated from the layout?

Are the Z and Y implied to be on the actual crossover themselves or are they implied to be on the feed tracks into the crossover?  That is the only question I have yet?????
