Purpose of the layout is to do some switching and run some freight trains around the layout. I may at some point put an elevated track over this and run trains around the loop. I just want to have some fun, build some industries and try for as much scenic realism as I can.  Any guidance is greatly appreciated. By the way I would be using Ross Track and switches. Thanks for your time.

There are two reversing loops but only work for trains running in the clockwise direction.  There is no reversing loop if running in the counter clockwise direction.  Can you rework one of the return loops?

Your layout has room for two independent loop tracks, but you only have one complete loop. I have two loop tracks for when I just want to run my trains, especially in opposite directions so the pass each other.  I recommend you relook the area I circled to see if you can have two independent loops.

Guys -  Based on Ron's suggestion, I reworked the entire thing(please see attached). I'm dealing with a basement that I'm weaving in and out of obstructions but I think I met all of your suggestions. You made me think that I should get my two independent loops established and be able to reverse direction when I want although I must use the inner loop to reverse direction on the outer loop. I'm trying to keep the curves as wide as I can. I think I have enough room to add sidings, industries etc. Dave - I'll work on the long sidings next but I wanted to get the basic multiloop established and see what is left over.  Thanks to you all for your time and guidance.
