Looking to transition from the upper two lines(about 52" high) to the lower line(about 44" high).

Attached is a picture to give you a basic idea of what i am trying to do with about 1/4 of my layout. There is a lot more but I simplified as I just want to focus how to make the grade look good between the upper and lower line.

The upper lines are light gray and close to the wall(5 - 8" away)

The Red is the grade from one level to another.

The darker gray is the lower level that mostly runs on the inside of the upper loops.

Pics, hints ,ideas would be great. I just can't picture how to make it look good. I have made grades before but never one that basically followed the contour of the track above and below it.

The grade will be quite gradual, close to 1%.

Thanks, Mike

The drawing is not to scale. I just threw it together to try to describe what I am doing. Actually both levels vary a bit. I will be connecting to the "highest" point of the lower level, so it is about a 6" change in elevation.
From where the grade starts at the (bottom left of pic) to where it meets the top loops, I have about 35 feet of track. I think 1% is actually about 1" rise every 8'(or 96").
I think going 6" in about 35' is about a 1.5% grade.

I really need ideas on how to run this grade.
Follow the contour of the upper levels? What type of scenery to put between levels and grade. How much space to put between grade lines and other mainlines?
I want it to look good but just can't envision it.
