So I'm working (or trying to work) with RRTrack tonight. The squares  are 12", the large radius sections are O72, and the smaller curves are O54. But things do not line up correctly. I verified that 16 O72 curves make a 6' circle, and the same all O72 switches or 072 Y switches. Everything makes a 6' circle with 16 pieces. So everything should be interchangable, right? Wrong! Look at the attached screen grab and someone please tell me where I went wrong.

The Ross O72 curve components are set at 22.5° of arc, except for the through of the O72/O54 curved switch which is about 26. 6° of arc. The custom curve should be close to 18.4° of arc - cut out of the 22.5° factory curve.

Measuring a straight line end to end on the outside rail would be ~ 11.75" long, give or take a couple of tenths.

Thanks for the help! I see where I need to cut the pieces of O72 curve. The other thing that did not help is I used flex track for the straights and did not keep them straight! But this is how you learn!

Yup. Just consider your track work to be more prototypical than the software and enjoy.
